President Donald Trump is set to announce the launch of an online prescription drug portal named after himself at the White House.
The TrumpRx website will be unveiled at a 7 p.m. ceremony on Thursday. The platform will be announced by Trump, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz, and National Design Studio Director Joe Gebbia.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the event earlier Thursday.
When it was first mentioned in September, TrumpRx was described as a mediating platform that directly connects prescription drug consumers to pharmaceutical companies. Its purpose is to help patients find the lowest prices for their prescription drugs.
