Watch Biden’s Assistants Plead the Fifth When Asked If Biden Family Members Executed His Duties

Pleading the Fifth means avoiding self-incrimination and while it’s routine under some circumstances it’s the correct thing to do, doing it when you’ve been asked…

  1. If Biden family members or other unelected officials wielded presidential powers
  2. If they had been told to lie about Biden’s health

… is obviously incriminating.

The House Oversight Committee released its report on the ‘Autopen’ during which they talked to key White House figures.

The first respondent in the video is Anthony Bernal, Former Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to Jill Biden, so when he’s asked about family members wielding presidential duties, you can see where this is going.

Mr. Bernal, was President Joe Biden fit to exercise the duties of the President?

A On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question pursuant to my Fifth Amendment rights under the Constitution.

Mr. Bernal, did any unelected official or family member of President Joe Biden execute the duties of the Presidency?

A On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question pursuant to my Fifth Amendment rights under the Constitution.

Mr. Bernal, did President Joe Biden ever instruct you to lie regarding his health at any time, including but not limited to in your testimony to Congress today?

A On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question pursuant to my Fifth Amendment rights under the Constitution.

You get the idea.

I have to say, I’ve seen a lot of congressional testimony but I haven’t seen a man sweat while looking to the side like this in a congressional hearing the way Jill Biden’s chief of staff is doing here
