IQ is overrated (despite what racists think) because people with high IQs are more prone to believing in certain stupid things. Like putting the government in charge of everything or that exhaling is destroying the planet.
Take this study. Please.
Climate change might slow intellectual development, experts warn – UPI
I’m not sure intellectual development involving the media and headlines involving ‘experts’ could slow down any further, but let’s find out.
Kids growing up under higher-than-usual temperatures — average temps above 86 degrees Fahrenheit — are less likely to meet developmental milestones for literacy and mathematics, researchers reported Monday in the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry.
So does this mean that kids in Arizona, Nevada and Texas are dumber? We could compare test scores between Arizona and New York. Especially since some of the researchers involved are in New York.
But, no the ‘experts’ had a better idea.
For the study, researchers analyzed data for more than 19,600 3- and 4-year-olds in the African nations of Gambia, Madagascar, Malawi and Sierra Leone; in Georgia, a nation on the Black Sea; and in Palestine.
‘Palestine’? A part of Israel that’s miles in size and has the same weather? What exactly do Muslim settlers living in Israel have in common with Muslim settlers in Gambia? I mean besides the obvious for the purpose of this study.
Results showed that children exposed to average maximums above 86 degrees F were 5% to nearly 7% less likely to meet basic developmental milestones for reading, writing and math, compared to kids exposed to temps lower than 79 degrees.
… when those children are in Gaza or Gambia anyway.
How many Nobel prize winners in the sciences have come out of Malawi or Sierra Leone? Must be the weather, right?
But, confusingly enough, an Israeli won the Nobel prize for economics in 2025, despite the hot weather. Maybe he had an air conditioner when growing up?
Also, according to this, if we move Somalis to say Maine or Minnesota, they should all become geniuses. Right?
Autism claims to Medicaid in Minnesota similarly shot up from $3 million in 2018 to $54 million in 2019, $77 million in 2020, $183 million in 2021, $279 million in 2022, $399 million in 2023, and nearing $400 million most of the way through 2024 for a total of over $1.4 billion.
How did autism claims rise from $3 million to $400 million a year in just 4 years?
The number of autism providers shot up 700% from 41 to 328 over 5 years. 1 in 16 Somali four-year-olds (6%) were supposedly suffering from autism leading to a mass demand for services. Somalis had accused the Minnesota Department of Human Services of racism, and protested outside its offices to pressure it into providing funding for the $250 million ‘Feeding Our Future’ and similarly launched a pressure campaign to sign off on the autism fraud.
Somali community groups set up their own autism treatment centers to provide diverse “culturally appropriate programming” and Somali kids were seven times more likely to receive autism treatment than other children. Whistleblowers at the Minnesota Department of Human Services report that 1 in 5 autism centers in the state are now under investigation.
Genius. I guess it’s true. Moving to a colder climate makes you much smarter. But how does that explain Gov. Tim Walz?
