Pro-Life Center Challenges Censorship by Pro-Abortion Governor

The thought overlords of Massachusetts believe they can get away “teaming up” with pro-abortionists to censor people who believe murdering pre-born babies is wrong.

Their confidence is being tested in court.

The American Center for Law and Justice is suing Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and other state officials on behalf of Your Options Medical, a Christian pro-life Pregnancy Resource Center.

They claim they were targeted by a taxpayer subsidized campaign to “discredit” and “shut down” life-affirming alternatives to abortion by partnering with a radically leftist group, called “Reproductive Equity Now.”

The “agressive public misinformation” campaign called all pro-life pregnancy centers “deceptive” and “dangerous,” according to the ACLJ.

Social media, buses and benches across the state were littered with government propaganda, fear mongering expecting mothers against visiting these establishments even if they’re not seeking to kill their baby. Healy and her goons were petty enough to tape up their hateful smears “directly near” the locations of ACLJ’s clients.

It’s all essentially compelled speech, sponsored by residents of Massachusetts, which makes it “one of the most important pro-life and free speech battles in the country,” according to ACLJ.

While a court initially rejected the case in two separate motions at the request of the defendants, it allowed the ACLJ to amend and expand their complaint.

In fact, the Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center, which is collaborating on the case, obtained 8,000 pages that confirm “a calculated effort by government officials, working hand-in-hand with pro-abortion activists, to silence and discredit Christian ministries that offer real alternatives to abortion.”

“The outcome could set national precedent on whether state governments can team up with abortion activists to suppress the voices of those who offer women hope, help, and life,” states the ACLJ.
