Re: From SDI to Golden Dome — Finally!
“The leftists and Leftmedia are already insisting Golden Dome will take money and resources away from ‘the poor.’ But this defense system is intended to protect the poor along with everyone else, most of whom live in the urban areas most likely to be targeted by adversarial weapons. The monetary payoff comes if we prevent the multitrillion-dollar losses of a destroyed Los Angeles or Chicago or New York and the ensuing multitrillion-dollar hit to our GDP. In such a disaster, funding SNAP would be among the least of our concerns.” —Minnesota
Re: DC Dems Struggle to Undo Their Minimum Wage Mess
“Since 2000, workforce participation in the 16- to 19-year-old bracket has fallen from 50% to 30% today. This is not good; the first job during high school provides experience in meeting employer expectations and an opportunity to accumulate cash toward the startup expenses of adulthood. Excessive minimum wage requirements price many high school students out of the market, except those whose parents have connections to employers. The ‘living wage’ argument does not apply for most in this group.” —Minnesota
Re: One Cheer for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act
“I dislike this bill for two reasons: (1) The promise of no Social Security tax on seniors is nowhere to be found. (2) Increasing the SALT deduction for those in high tax states. Why should the rest of the country have to subsidize the rotten tax policies of the few? This is a disincentive for those states to get their fiscal policies in order. I hope the Senate rectifies these or shoots the bill down in flames, as it should.” —Texas
Re: The Biden Cover-Up Is an Enormous Scandal
“The reality is that this Biden health cover-up scandal has been building for decades. The truth is, as big as the scandal is, it is no bigger than the Lewinsky cover-up. Or the Benghazi cover-up. Or the ‘Summer of Love’ cover-up. Or the 2020 election cover-up. Or the Russian collusion or the Hunter Biden laptop cover-ups. The list is endless. The only real question at this point is whether the current ongoing cover-up of the cover-up will succeed as previous cover-ups or fail as the most recent cover-up.” —Tennessee
“I wish the media would investigate who was actually running the country because the Democrats and the media have been lying for well over 50 years. That is not news, but who was running the country? Who was making decisions? Who directed the fiasco that was the Biden administration?” —Wisconsin
Re: The Democrat Party: A Corrupt Power Machine That Will Sacrifice Anyone
“I think the Democrats had no winning candidate better than Biden in 2020. Biden might have been able to pull it off if they had been able to keep him from saying anything. Right now you’ve got AOC campaigning and a couple of bad governors of blue states — not really appealing to the entire country, so what do they do?” —Wisconsin
“Very well put, Patrick. I couldn’t have said it better myself. This is definitely a very scary time for our country as we see corruption springing up in nearly every realm of our society. It is clear that the focus of many in our country is no longer the betterment of all but the betterment of oneself, driven primarily be greed and avarice. As we have departed from our societal underpinning based on our allegiance to God, our creator, we have also departed from our own personal dignity, integrity, and honor. In my opinion, we, as a nation, had better get back to the tenets laid out by the Ten Commandments or we are doomed.” —Florida
“The problem as I see it is that this information is coming out too soon! It needs to come out just before the next election cycle so it is fresh on everyone’s minds when they go to vote. By coming out now, it will be old news by election time, and most people will either forget or won’t care because something new will be put in front of them.” —Illinois
“Great article! For almost 100 years it seems, conservatives have been scratching their heads and failing to understand how Democrat policies are intended to help our society. It’s because they’re not. Democrats don’t try to do good by us. No, they strive to enrich themselves whenever they’re in power, and they largely succeeded until Trump revealed the Deep State. Electing Democrats is like putting wolves in charge of a henhouse and expecting to get healthy hens and a bumper crop of eggs.” —Illinois
Re: Trump Confronts the South African President
“Trump is so handily able to ambush any and all leftists, whether domestic or foreign, and regardless of rank, simply because he has the stones to do it and because his moral compass puts him on the high road on every issue of our time. The Left’s partisan opposition to him leaves them condoning economic slavery, political violence, racism, sexism, government oppression, discrimination, subversion … the list goes on. We are as fortunate to have Trump as we were to have our Founders.” —Illinois
Re: The Memorial Day Profiles of Valor
“As a Marine veteran, I can always count on The Patriot Post for exceptional commentary on what matters, and in this case, Memorial Day. Reading those profiles should be mandatory curriculum in middle and high schools so young people have some sense of the price paid for them.” —California
“Thank you for your comments smacking down businesses that put Memorial Day Sale profits above honoring those who have earned it. As a retired Air Force MSGT with 26 years of service, you are right on point. Thank you for what the Patriot Post team does every day!” —Alabama
“Unintentional heroes, taking care of their brothers in arms under great duress. There are a lot of them out there in cemeteries across the country. Thank you for taking the time to remember them and for all your outstanding Memorial Day meme images on social media.” —Washington
