Re: Should Trump Take Qatar’s Gift?

“It’s probably best to politely turn down the offer. This wouldn’t be an issue if Boeing wasn’t totally incompetent at its core business of building aircraft. The bigger issue is that no other American company builds airliners any longer. Just imagine the fiasco if the federal government contracted with Airbus for a new Air Force One.” —Tennessee

Re: Is Trump Breaking China’s Will?

“There have been many agreements made with Communist China over the last few decades. Yet name one it abided by six months or a year later. You really think it will follow through on today’s agreements six months from now? If you do, can I buy your house or business today and pay you in six months?” —Illinois

Re: Sotomayor’s ‘Solidarity’ With the Left

“An impartial judiciary is probably more aspiration than fact. They know the responsibility but lack the moral strength to pull it off. The people want and are entitled to the judiciary equivalent of a well-mannered golden retriever, yet the best they can do nowadays is emulate a pack of hyenas fighting over a carcass. This is reflective of partisan foolishness, not the original intention of a well-considered Constitution. There is enough embarrassment for all.” —Washington

Re: Are Toxic Mom Influencers Ruining Women’s Choices?

“I’m a 60-year-old woman, so this debate is long past for me, but I cannot help wondering what is wrong with young women. Don’t they have the ability to think for themselves? Must every single decision in their life be determined by some ‘influencer’? Unfortunately, women have often been easily swayed by forceful friends who delight in telling them what to do, but this nonsense of taking the advice of total strangers on issues as important and personal as whether to have kids and whether to be a homemaker is ridiculous. Many of these confused females are college graduates, so let’s see some of that incredibly expensive education at work by deciding your own future, since no one else is going to live your life.” —Pennsylvania

Re: What You Should Know About Iran: Part I

“You left out one key fact. The Iranian people love, or at least highly prefer, America. The radical leadership took over in 1979 and has imposed a near-totalitarian state over Iran, which at the time was one of the more ‘modernized’ Islamic countries. They turned it back to the stone age of Sharia. We had a great chance to let the people overthrow the mullahs and their regime back in 2009 during the uprising. All Barack Obama needed to do is say, ‘We stand with the Iranian people,’ and they would have taken it from there. But he didn’t. Let’s hope Donald Trump gets a do-over. Overthrow by the people will solve most of the issues regarding terrorism, including the development of a nuke.” —Georgia

Re: Abu Dhabi Disney Hypocrisy

“This is typical of the Left. I never believed it is as committed to wokeness as much as it is opposed to basic Christian morality. Leftists are pro-Hamas on one hand and pro-LGBTQ+ on the other. The common thread is anti-Christianity.” —Tennessee
