Mohamed Gets Into Standoff With Cops in South Dakota

“Sioux Falls man arrested after threatening to burn down building in live video,” the headline reads.

The Sioux Falls man has a typical Sioux Falls name.

A Sioux Falls man was arrested Tuesday after threatening to burn down a building on social media.

Police went to the address near West 46th Street and Sertoma Avenue where they found Mohamed Mansarry, 28, who refused to come out and barricaded the door. Sioux Falls Police Department Emergency Response Team and Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to the scene and the man was eventually taken into custody.

Mansarry was taken to jail for terrorist threat, possession of controlled substance and obstructing law enforcement.

How did Mohamed Mansarry come to be a ‘Sioux Falls’ name? Sioux Falls has been a target for ‘refugee resettlement’ by Lutheran Social Services who have done more damage to America than a decade’s worth of natural disasters.

Mohamed’s last name suggests that he’s probably from Sierra Leone. Refugee resettlement is how Sierra Leone ends up in Sioux Falls.

The good news is that Sioux Falls is ‘becoming increasingly diverse’ thanks to refugee resettlement. The bad news is that it occasionally involves terrorist threats.

Refugee resettlement. If you like the place you live, the odds are that refugee resettlement will ruin it.
