In a recent column reference to the plethora of Leftmedia fabrications by “journalists,” I noted the most celebrated example currently is the book Original Sin by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’s Alex Thompson, in which they preposterously claim they had no idea Joe Biden was mentally incapacitated. I also noted that they were in “collusion with the Biden/Harris regime to cover up Biden’s degraded mental capacity in order to pave a post-2024 Democrat primary path to the presidency for Kamala Harris and Tim ‘Stolen Valor’ Walz.”
The Tapper/Thompson clown show wanted America to believe the entire mainstream media could not see what anyone with an IQ equal to their age could clearly see: overwhelming evidence of Biden’s cognitive decline. Despite their “shock and surprise” claim about Biden’s mental status, Tapper noted that, according to a well-placed White House source, “Five people were running the country, and Joe Biden was at best a senior member of the board.”
“At best,” Joe Biden may have been present.
This was not just a decline in Biden’s last year. I checked columns I have written since Biden became a primary candidate in 2020, and I have referenced him as “non compos mentis” (Latin for “of unsound mind,” the loss of memory or ability to reason) 65 times — the first in January 2020, when I noted that if Biden made it beyond Super Tuesday, despite the fact he was obviously and demonstrably non compos mentis, the Demo primary was rigged.
Beginning with his nomination in August of that year, I have repeatedly referenced his “controllers,” his “handlers,” and his “puppeteers,” as have our other analysts. The speculation that someone else was in charge was no revelation for us.
This week, Barack Obama’s White House physician, Jeffrey Kuhlman, told The Washington Post that Joe Biden’s White House physician, Kevin O’Connor, clearly should have administered cognitive tests to Biden in his last year in office. Kuhlman, who also served as Biden’s doctor in 2009 when he was vice president, said O’Connor’s 2024 assessment of Biden as “fit for duty” included no neurocognitive testing.
According to Kuhlman: “Sometimes those closest to the tree miss the forest. It shouldn’t be just health, it should be fitness. Fitness is: Do you have that robust mind, body, spirit that you can do this physically, mentally, emotionally demanding job?” He added: “I didn’t see that [O’Connor was] purposely hiding stuff, but I don’t know that. Maybe the investigation will show it.”
Now, Donald Trump and Congress have elevated a very important question: Who was actually in charge when Biden was in office?
Trump had previously raised the issue in March, laying the groundwork to prompt an investigation. As The Wall Street Journal put it, “Congress should get to the bottom of the ‘Politburo’ that governed while the president declined.”
Last week, Trump ordered the Justice Department to investigate whether Biden’s aides “abused the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline and assert Article II authority.” Actually, we now know there were three Biden autopens.
The order notes: “This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history. The American public was purposefully shielded from discovering who wielded the executive power, all while Biden’s signature was deployed across thousands of documents to effect radical policy shifts.”
Last week, Biden responded with an unequivocal denial: “Let me be clear: I made the decisions during my presidency. I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false.”
No idea who wrote that denial!
Trump’s order is supported by Special Counsel Robert Hur’s February 2024 investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents, in which Hur concluded that Biden “willfully retained and disclosed” classified information but should not be prosecuted because he is a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” I detailed his report that month, asserting that Demo delegates would eventually dump Biden. That seemed obvious to our team, and in fact, 16 months earlier, in October 2022, I stepped way off the prognostication reservation and asserted, “It’s Official — Biden Will (NOT) Be the Demo Nominee in 2024.”
Oh, but again, Tapper and his Leftmedia collaborators just never saw this coming!
The path the Department of Justice is taking to answer the question of who was actually in charge starts with Biden’s autopen signatures on pardons, and the question of who was actually managing his autopen signature generators.
There were thousands of pardons and commutations ostensibly issued by Biden on his way out the door (and in his final minutes in office), which makes these orders the low-hanging fruit for investigators to determine if his puppeteers used his autopen to authorize pardons. In an initial examination of clemency warrants and pardons, it is clear that two autopen signatures were used. Biden actually hand-signed only one of those orders.
Trump says what we all know: “[Biden] did not have much of an idea what was going on.”
He asserted that if the DOJ uncovers evidence that White House aides were issuing orders with Biden’s autopen, it would amount to “treason at the highest level.” He added, “The Biggest Scandal in American History is the ‘AUTOPEN!; Whoever used it was usurping the power of the Presidency, and it should be very easy to find out who that person (or persons) is.”
Actually, because Demos are masters at covering their tracks, the two most accomplished among them being Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, it will not be easy to find out who was doing this. But if they bust just one case of Biden’s autopen being used in the pardons and clemencies, this is going to blow up…
In the 30 days before his departure, Biden’s autopen started his pardon party by issuing a get-out-of-jail-free card to Hunter Biden. This, despite having repeatedly promised he would never do that because “no one is above the law.” Of course, Biden never lies. Remember: He told us, “Telling the truth matters.”
Then, Biden’s autopen commuted the sentences of 1,499 people and pardoned another 39 convicts, which he then followed just before Christmas with his autopen commutation of the sentences of 37 of 40 federal death row inmates, some being the most evil people in federal custody. A week later, his autopen commuted another 2,500 sentences.
Just hours before leaving office, despite warnings from Demos not to issue preemptive pardons, Biden’s autopen did just that, issuing before-the-fact pardons for Anthony Fauci, GEN Mark Milley, and the J6 inquisitors, including witness-tampering former Rep. Liz Cheney. “I believe in the rule of law,” said Biden, “but these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing.”
Finally, just minutes before Trump took his oath of office, Biden’s autopen jumped into action again, giving pardons to his immediate family members — to the astonishment of many of his Leftmedia defenders, including even the aforementioned Jake Tapper.
Apparently, this exceeded even Tapper’s tolerance for hypocrisy. He posted combined links to the Biden family pardons with a link to a 2020 CNN article just before Trump left office about Biden’s concern that Trump might issue preemptive pardons to family members (which he did not do). According to Biden then: “It concerns me in terms of what kind of precedent it sets and how the rest of the world looks (at) us as a nation of laws and justice. … You’re not going to see, uh, um, in our administration, that kind of approach to pardons.” What a difference four years make!
Trump’s most vociferous critic, then-House member Adam Schiff (D-CA), also voiced in 2020 his concern that Trump would “prospectively pardon people for things they have not yet been charged,” adding “including his family,” and declaring that innocent people don’t need preemptive pardons.
Indeed, they do not.
So, who was managing the autopen?
The last-minute family pardons are indicative that Old Joe was the godfather of the Biden family crime syndicate. Political analyst Buck Sexton concluded, “Biden pardoning his whole crime family on the way out the door is the perfect ending to this fetid, corrupt, failed presidency.”
All totaled, over his four years in office, Biden’s autopen issued pardons and clemencies to more than 10,500 criminals, which is, as he proudly declared, “more individual pardons and commutations than any president in U.S. history.” (For context, Donald Trump issued a total of 237 pardons and clemencies in his first term.)
Former federal prosecutor Trey Gowdy says, “It’s relevant to ask ‘who was running the White House?’ … He managed to wake up long enough to let almost every single killer off of death row. Was Biden making these terrible decisions, or was someone else the de facto president?”
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) declared: “The Trump DOJ is right to open a probe into the potential unauthorized use of autopen at the Biden White House for sweeping pardons and other executive actions. Americans demand transparency and accountability about who was calling the shots at the White House.”
Pay attention to the words “and other executive actions” in Comer’s statement. If he and his fellow GOP committee members find just one instance of a Biden puppeteer’s unauthorized use of his autopens, then the next question will be, what other executive actions were unauthorized?
The first round of subpoenas has been issued.
If investigators can identify one of Biden’s autopen puppeteers, it will be interesting to see if Demos defend Biden or throw him under the bus.
