Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s new ‘Tenant Director”, had tweeted that “Private property is a weapon of white supremacy”, “Impoverish the *white* middle class” and “We’ll transition from treating property as an individual good to a collective good. Whites especially will be impacted.”
Also, “elect more communists”.
Mamdani is standing by her because that is literally his agenda.
“We made the decision to have Cea Weaver serve as our executive director for the mayor’s office to protect tenants, to build on the work that she has done to protect tenants across the city, and we were already seeing the results of that work,” he told reporters following an unrelated news conference.
You’ll really know you’re seeing results when the white middle class is impoverished.
