The Loudoun County, Virginia, public school system is an immoral collection of the most deranged left-wing ideologues in public life. In a just world, the entire system would be torn down and rebuilt from scratch.
Loudoun County Public Schools has reportedly decided to suspend two of the boys facing a Title IX investigation from earlier this year. You may recall this case, in which LCPS stuck a biological female who identifies as male in a high school boys’ locker room, and that biological female then recorded video in that locker room. Three boys in that locker room were shown on video talking about how uncomfortable it made them to change in the same locker room as a biological female.
LCPS did not punish the biological female, who was filming boys in a boys’ locker room. That is because the person is transgender, claiming to be a boy, and LCPS is primarily focused on pushing anti-science transgender ideology in its schools. Those three boys were sexually harassed by a biological female who secretly recorded them in a locker room, and LCPS decided not to punish the transgender student over it.
Instead, the district decided to punish the boys. All three were placed under investigation for crimes against transgender people, being investigated for sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination for not wanting to change in the same locker room as a biological female. The district dropped the investigation into one of the three, but the other two were hit with additional sexual discrimination allegations and, now, a 10-day suspension. The district will ultimately saddle those two students’ records with Title IX violations just as they are beginning the college application process.

Again, the boys in this case were the victims. They were the victims of a biological female recording them in the locker room and of LCPS policy allowing biological females in the boys’ locker rooms. But LCPS would rather try to ruin these boys’ lives than admit that biological females don’t belong in the boys’ locker room. LCPS is so broken by “gender identity” that the adults involved don’t care about real sexual harassment as much as they care about students privately, verbally expressing their discomfort with being sexually harassed.
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares referred this administrative misconduct to the Education and Justice departments. Both departments and the Virginia state government must bring the hammer down on LCPS, because this despicable decision-making by transgender-obsessed progressive school officials must not be allowed to go unpunished.
