Leavitt Takes Press to the Cleaners for Rooting Against Trump on DC, Peace Talks

On Tuesday afternoon, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt came locked and loaded to take on the America Last liberal media and blasted many of them for seeming to be rooting for President Trump to fail in not only bringing down crime in Washington D.C. by federalizing the police and bringing in National Guard troops, but also his moves to bring peace in eastern Europe by ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.

First, she went hard in the paint against the liberal media for Trump’s deep desire to see the war started by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine come to an end as an entire generation on both sides have been killed since it started in 2022 on Joe Biden’s watch:

The other portion of her opening statement touched on the lawlessness in D.C.:

Having made her positions (and the facts) clear to the liberal media, Leavitt opened up the Q&A with the “new media seat,” which went to Human Events senior editor and Real America’s Voice host Jack Posobiec:

The snippiest part of the Q&A came later as The New York Times’s Shawn McCreesh wondered why Trump didn’t call Putin during his meeting with Ukraine’s Zelenskyy and European leaders so everyone could talk to each other.

Leavitt blasted this as a smart aleck take:
