Judge Blocks Trump Removal of Illegals Because It’s Like Slavery

Each iteration of Democrat judges is more radical than the last which means that Obama judges made Clinton judges seem reasonable and Biden judges make Obama judges seem like polished professionals. Obama judges tended to use some kind of legal reasoning. Biden judges just stamp their feet, go on woke rants and issue rulings whose legal reasoning amounts to ‘BECAUSE I SAID SO” and “THAT’S RACIST!”

If you think I’m exaggerating, here’s the latest ruling by a federal judge who was only made so by Biden for three reasons, race, gender and radicalism, and has no concept of what actually being a judge entails beyond making people do what she wants. This ought to be embarrassing for everyone involved, but we’re no longer a country with any standards of shame.

TPS or Temporary Protected Status has been abused for decades as a free pass for illegals, visa overstays and others living in America who come from places that are allegedly too horrible to send them back to. The T part is supposed to be Temporary, but past administrations would indefinitely renew it. The Trump administration has stopped renewing some TPS’s.

The Left sued and the case went to ‘Judge; Trina Thompson, a local Oakland criminal defense attorney, who got passed through the system by Obama and then Biden.

Obviously she (illegally) blocked the TPS suspension, but her ruling reads like a college paper editorial.

“The freedom to live fearlessly, the opportunity of liberty, and the American dream. That is all Plaintiffs seek. Instead, they are told to atone for their race, leave because of their names, and purify their blood. The Court disagrees.”

This is the opening. Clearly someone’s auditioning for the Supreme Court.

It doesn’t get any better from there.

One of the plaintiffs “volunteers in Oakland for an organization that provides a safe space for artists” and without TPS “would be forced to abandon her plans of going back to school to study data science”.

Another’s “children would lose opportunities, and one of Lama’s children would not be able to get medical treatment for her
severe allergies.”

Mind you, TPS is supposed to deal with major emergencies and natural disasters in a home country. It’s not for when your kids have allergies and you want to study ‘data science’.

Then there’s this masterpiece.

Plaintiff Martinez is 57 years, a native of Honduras, and has been on TPS since 1999. He is a licensed soccer instructor, a licensed realtor, and owns a landscaping business. He has also been volunteering with the Honduran Consulate for the last 7 years.”

He can volunteer with the Honduran consulate, but he can’t go back to Honduras? This makes a complete mockery of TPS.

But the best part may this footnote in which Judge Trina compares deporting illegals from America to… slavery.

“During oral argument, Plaintiffs argued that granting unfettered discretion over TPS terminations would allow the President to give or take TPS away from some country whenever he feels like it or for the purpose of trade negotiations. The Court recognizes that the United States has a long history of transporting individuals against their will, to places unfamiliar to them, and for the purposes of trade. For example, the United States was an active participant in the transatlantic slave trade which uprooted individuals in Africa and brought them to this continent. The emancipation of slaves saw the same pattern, but in reverse. America has seen this pattern before. Many freed slaves were sent to countries to which they had no connection whatsoever. These efforts made “free blacks fearful of a mass deportation across the Atlantic Ocean reminiscent of the Middle Passage.”

Okay. I guess we can’t deport anyone who isn’t legally in America because it’s just like slavery. Apart from the part where we’re trying to remove them, not keep them here. Cheap labor isn’t just like slavery. According to Judge Trina, removing cheap labor is just like slavery.
