The mainstream schlock press likes to say how Jamie Lee Curtis comes from Hollywood royalty. They say this because her mother, Janet Leigh, starred in Hitchcock’s Psycho where she died in a shower stabbing scene, and her father, Tony Curtis, became a pretty “woman” in the film, Some Like it Hot.
A myth persists that Jamie Lee Curtis (JLC) was born intersex. Some even claim that the actress has something called androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS). This is where the receptors for the hormone androgen reject the hormone instead of accepting it. When a child with AIS is born s/he looks like a female with a fairly large clitoris. Doctors proclaim, “It’s a girl!”
When it’s discovered the “girl’ in question hasn’t menstruated by adolescence, an internal exam often reveals the absence of female genitalia and the presence of at least one undescended testicle; that testicle then has to be removed.
Who knows what the truth is.
This wouldn’t be important at all if JLC’s life wasn’t a perfect case of life imitating art.
Consider her annoying abrasiveness as she becomes the go-to spokesperson for the dying Hollywood Left.
For decades she was mildly apolitical (but always a staunch Democrat) as her ‘scream queen’ films grossed well over $2.5 million. These are films most intelligent people would be embarrassed about having watched: Halloween, Freaky Friday, and Freakier Friday. She did win an Oscar for best supporting actress in 2022 for her role as an IRS agent in the science fiction film, Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Her Halloween films have a cult following but it’s not because of her but because of a character named Michael Myers. She’s also listed as a children’s author, but as far as I know she’s not written any books having to do with bassinet stroller sex change surgeries.
As a self-appointed political spokesperson for the Hollywood Left, whenever JLC opens her mouth all hell breaks lose.
With her long, angular face, short white hair, Clark Kent glasses and haughty manner, she’s clearly found her true calling. JLC also talks with her hands. Watch her hand motions in any video and you’ll see the wind turbines of Holland or California spin in a continuous frenzy.
“I have become quite brusque,” the National News Service reported her saying in 2024. She added she has no problem telling people to “Back the f-ck off,” when they make demands on her time.
She uses the ‘f’ word repeatedly and obsessively in print and video interviews.
Another one of her favorite expressions is, “I don’t give a shit anymore!” She says this a lot when talking the “cosmeceutical industrial complex,” or what plastic surgery has done to women’s faces.
While she may have a point about the excesses of plastic surgery, most of what legacy rags like People magazine want to hear from her are condemnations of Trump, Republicans, ICE and the anti-trans lobby that doesn’t want biological men playing in women’s sports.
The Washington Times reported in 2020 that Curtis accused Trump of stealing mail trucks to win the 2016 election.
Immediately after the 2024 election, Curtis said:
“But what it really means is that we wake up and fight. Fight for women and our children and their futures and fight against tyranny, one day at a time. One fight at a time. One protest at a time. That’s what it means to be an American.”
Fight for women meaning, of course, the right to unrestricted abortion. Fight for children meaning the right to transgender sex surgeries in cribs and bassinet strollers.
JLC dissolved her X account following the 2024 election, as did Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg and Jim Carey.
She told LGBTQ Nation the election of Trump meant:
“…The sure return to a more restrictive, some fear draconian time. Many fear their rights will be impeded and denied. Many, minority groups and young people will be afraid. Gay and trans people will be more afraid. We know that many women will now find it difficult to get the reproductive healthcare that they need and deserve.”
This is unoriginal Leftwing psychobabble. Nearly every Hollywood celebrity, including Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel, repeat these lines whenever they’re having a major TDS attack.
I’ll say one thing: JLC tries really hard to sound intelligent because she realizes her horror genre film career is over. Now it’s about becoming a sleek thinned down version of Rosie O’Donnell.
“This country was founded on freedom,” she wrote, “A profoundly simple idea that everyone living here should be free to dream and achieve what they want freely. Now politicians are proposing that parents providing gender-affirming care for their own children are felons and deserve prison time. These laws are discriminatory, unjust, and anti-American. Freedom of expression includes gender expression!”
The laws against children doing things like smoking cigarettes, driving, voting, buying chewing tobacco, alcohol, traveling alone on airplanes or getting their parents’ permission to appear in porn films, are there for a reason.
Transgender sex surgeries fit right into that category.
She told The New Yorker some years ago that she did badly in school with a D average and that:
“Today I’d be diagnosed with some learning disability or learning difference. I am a great reader, but I don’t retain that much. I moved to three high schools in four years.”
While nobody can be blamed for a learning disability, when you admit you don’t retain much of what you read or learned, how can you then pretend to have an intelligent handle on politics or transgender issues?
JLC is married to a man named Christopher Guest. The two have been together for a long time but apparently couldn’t have children the natural way so they adopted a daughter Annie and a son Thomas.
Annie grew up to be a pretty normal looking woman while Thomas, although very masculine appearing in older pictures where he sometimes posed wearing a hat, decided that he was trans despite being heterosexual. After Thomas’ coming out, JLC began treating him like a girl and told the media she began educating herself on trans issues.
Thomas then became Ruby, losing his masculine good looks and becoming fat and dumpy with long stringy hair that tends to hang down carelessly over black housedresses that resemble Mennonite mourning gowns.
This look is totally Halloween III, a mix of Michael Myers and trans-identity politics, without any attempt to look glamorous. Why doesn’t JLC help poor Ruby in the clothes department? The overall ugliness here jives with what many writers have written about how the Left elevates the ugly into the realms of the beautiful.
Fat is beautiful. Even decay has a special splendor.
We see this in the liberal Left all over the world, most notably in modernist Catholic churches or in the Vatican’s 2020 Nativity display where the characters portraying the Holy Family look like creepy Fisher-Price toys. We also see this in Leftist women who wear brightly colored, over the top clothes or who expose too much skin in summer despite being vastly overweight with crepe skin.
It’s as if they are saying, “There is magnificence in our ugliness. There is power in it, greater than beauty can ever wield.”
A recent development in trans political culture is to scrub clean any reference to biological birth names in the biographies of notable trans people.
In one You Tube video about Ruby, while a quick reference is made to Ruby’s sex “assigned at birth” (a sacrilegious term nobody should use), by the end of the bio-epic the film’s narrator is calling Thomas a ‘she’ when first adopted by JLC and Guest.
Of course, while liberals like Guest and JLC put on a happy face when it comes to showing off their trans children, the time they spent “coming to grips” with the situation is glossed over as if it only involved a few casual discussions around the kitchen table.
One can only guess at the behind-the-scenes horror that might have occurred in the Curtis household when little Thomas came out as trans, especially considering that questions of autism and personality disorders are often at the heart of transgender identity.
It has also been observed by many that Guest looks very uncomfortable standing next to Ruby or holding Ruby’s hand in some publicity photos.
JLC, who was an opiate addict for some ten years-she was using drugs like Vicodin as late as 1998-celebrated her son Thomas’ trans announcement in 2021. Ruby’s cosplay wedding to a biological female in 2022 was a Leftist stuffed animal fest affair with guests dressing up as their favorite furry beast.
Ruby, it should be noted, identifies as trans, furry and a goblin.
But all of this is completely natural and normal while JLC goes from podium to podium working her hands into a frenzy stating that American democracy is dead and that Trump, an ex-felon, must be taken down, “one protest at a time.”
