Iran Declares ‘No Negotiations On Our Missile Program’

Iran is again threatening Israel while playing the victim and hoping for a nuke deal that will further fund its ambitions to annihilate the Jewish state. “Iran says won’t dismantle missiles, ready for war with Israel,” JNS, November 1, 2025:

Iran said on Saturday that although it is prepared to engage in talks about its nuclear ambitions, its missile program is not up for discussion.

“We are ready to talk to address concerns about our nuclear program. We emphasize the peaceful nature of our nuclear program. It is possible to reach a fair agreement, but Washington has set impossible and unacceptable preconditions,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera.

He added, “There will be no negotiations on our missile program. It would be foolish if one hands over his weapons.”

The top diplomat moreover stated that his country is “prepared for any scenario” in the wake of its 12-day war with Israel in June. Tehran expects “hostile behavior from the Zionist regime. We are at the apex of preparedness at all levels. Israel will suffer another defeat in any future war,” he said.

“We have gained a lot of experience from the recent war and tested our missiles in a real battle,” Araghchi continued. “If the Zionist regime launches an attack, it will come with dire consequences for it.”

The 10-year nuclear deal between Iran and world powers expired on Oct. 18, with Tehran announcing it is no longer bound by the 2015 agreement.

Under the deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), financial sanctions on Iran were lifted in return for promised limitations on its nuclear program…

Note that Iran says “we emphasize the peaceful nature of our nuclear program,” and Iranian officials have often repeated that its enrichment of uranium was for domestic use only, for electricity generation and medical research. Yet at the same time, whatever the true nature of its nuclear program, Iran has been developing missiles that it intends to use to strike Israel again. Its foreign minister also said: “We have gained a lot of experience from the recent war and tested our missiles in a real battle.”

Also, Iran was long enriching uranium at a level consistent only with the building of nuclear bombs, according to International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi. The doomsday regime aims to obliterate Israel; for the Iranian regime, this is a religious imperative.

In June, a prominent Iranian MP, Abolfazl Zohrev, who is a member of the Majles National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated:

We need to be on the threshold, at the highest possible level, so that we can make as many [nuclear] bombs as we want, in less than 24 hours, and respond to what they do, or if they threaten Iran.”

Iran will always tell the world that Israel threatens it, but it is obvious that it is the other way around. Iran and its proxies are hell-bent on the destruction of Israel. The mullahs see this as a divine mission.

According to MEMRI: “The website of the governmental Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has posted a lengthy document titled ‘The World toward Illumination.’ The document is a transcript of an IRIB series on the imminent arrival of the Mahdi, the Twelfth or Hidden Imam, awaited by Shi’ites as the Messiah.”

A 2019 Jerusalem Post article highlights the deep religious beliefs of the Iranian leadership, and its obsession with destroying Israel. Iran’s Supreme Leader references words of the deceased Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah:

Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei affirmed Nasrallah’s prediction: “The return of this holy land [Israel] to the World of Islam is not a strange and unattainable matter.” He declared Nasrallah’s goal of praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque “an absolutely practical and achievable aspiration for us.”

The article continues:

Al-Aqsa Mosque is, of course, located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. So Nasrallah’s prediction essentially means that at some point, Israel will no longer be able to prevent his coming out of hiding to enter the Holy City.

Under Obama and Joe Biden, Iran benefited richly, receiving billions which it used only to build weaponry and finance its jihad terror proxy groups.

The one-sided Obama nuclear deal only appeased Iran and served to build the strength of the Islamic regime against Israel and American interests.

Now, Iran is even more determined—despite the recent bombing of the Fordow Uranium Enrichment Plant, Natanz Nuclear Facility, and Isfahan Nuclear Tech Center. And the regime is no longer hiding its nuclear ambitions. It’s flaunting them. This is due to a combination of Islamic religious zeal and leftist appeasement.
