Gov. Tim Walz Makes His Retardation Into National Issue

Gov. Tim Walz, fresh off his humiliating election defeat, is really determined to make his retardation or non-retardation (depends on your perspective) into a national issue. After President Trump called Walz “retarded”, Democrats and their media expressed outrage, suggesting that comparing mentally disabled people to Gov. Tim Walz was insulting to them. Which it obviously is.

I mean who wants to be compared to Gov. Tim Walz anyway.

And since the only other story about him is how Gov. Walz watched Somalis steal over $1 billion while he paraded around in L.L. Bean hunting gear and pretended to play video games for the Harris-Walz campaign, it’s understandable that he would want to change the subject to anything.

Literally anything. Including whether he’s retarded.

Gov. Walz declared that calling him retarded “creates danger,” and that people are driving past his house and calling him retarded. “I’ll tell you, I’ve never seen this before, people driving by my house and using the R word. This is shameful and I have yet to see an elected official, a Republican elected official, say you’re right, he should not say that, that’s shameful. I’m worried. We know how these things go, they start with taunts, they turn to violence.”

First, I’m a little bit skeptical that Walz has never been called a ‘retard’ before. He was a teenager in the 70s and 80s. In all that time, no one called him a retard? Or, you know, after his presidential debate performance.

Second, Walz is now actually campaigning on being called a ‘retard.’ He’s trying to turn his supposed lack of retardation into a national issue. He’s now hoping that the media will go around asking Republicans to condemn calling him a retard.

That’s pretty sad.

But the alternative is trying to launch a 2028 presidential campaign based on letting Somalis rip off the state for over $1 billion.

It’s probably better to be known as the governor who insists he’s not a retard.
