Gov. Gavin Newsom is a white man. Kamala Harris is a, sorta, black woman. But they have a bunch of things in common. They both got a head start through Willie Brown and Getty money. They’re both hopeless mediocrities who spent their careers imitating more successful politicians (Bill Clinton for Gavin and Barack Obama for Kamala.)
And they both love to play the victim.
Victimhood is a mandated status for anyone trying to get ahead in the Dems. Graham Platner, who’s running in Maine, just got exposed over his wake working class routine, but Gavin and Kamala are the OGs of victimhood. Kamala had her story of living in segregated Southern California where the Klan, in tie dyed sheets, would come by and burn a rainbow mandala on their own, and Gavin, well he’s just a boy off the streets who lived a hard knock life.

Gavin Newsom was from a third generation politically connected family. And not just politically connected, but politically connected to the Brown clan. He went to a high end French prep school and vacationed with the Getty family which funded his business and political career. As it did for his father who served as their lawyer and bagman.
I can’t wait till the debate where Kamala and Gavin try to top each other’s fake victimhood.
