Gary Bauer: The Left Ramps Up Hate Rhetoric

In the last several days, there has been yet another avalanche of dangerous, hateful rhetoric from the Left. Every American of good will who rejects violence as a way of solving political differences needs to be paying attention right now.
 
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker went on Fox News Thursday night. He doubled down on his outrageous accusation that our immigration police officers are comparable to the Nazi Gestapo. He said they are rounding up minorities just like Hitler’s Gestapo rounded up the Jews, leading to the Holocaust.
 
That’s pure demagoguery and demonization meant to inspire hatred of federal law enforcement.
 
He also made the enforcement of our immigration laws a racial issue by accusing immigration police of “racially profiling” illegal aliens. Pritzker is lying, and he knows it.
 
Apple took down apps that tracked immigration police after a radical leftist used one in an attempt to assassinate immigration police officers in Dallas. Now, Democrats in Congress, in California, Illinois, and New York, are creating their own systems to track, dox, and even arrest federal immigration officers. (See next item.)
 
A Democrat congressional candidate in Texas, who says she’s “from the hood,” is running for office by promising not to just hit back at her Republican opponents but “go across the neck.” She’s talking about slashing people’s throats!
 
And then there’s Ken Martin, chairman of the Democrat National Committee.
 
Martin claims “we may be nearing” a “break the glass moment when all of our democratic institutions have failed us.” He then insinuated that Donald Trump is a dictator whose “authoritarian regime here has completely shredded the Constitution.”
 
In such a “break the glass moment,” Martin said, “party doesn’t matter, and elections don’t matter, and then the resistance looks completely different.”
 
That word—resistance—is used to describe how Europeans fought the Nazis, and it wasn’t through peaceful protests.
 
Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts that we know of. Charlie Kirk was brutally murdered by a radical leftist. Our immigration police are constantly under attack from Antifa and leftist mobs. And Democrats are begging for even more violence!
 
They are preparing their unhinged base for revolution and civil war.
 
Democrat strategist James Carville knows how he wants that “revolution” to end. On his latest podcast, he said:
 
“You know what we do with collaborators? … I think we ought to have radical things. I think they all ought to have their heads shaved. They should be put in orange pajamas and marched down Pennsylvania Avenue, and the public should be invited to spit on them.”
