Gary Bauer: Crazy Leftist Killers

In recent days, violent left-wing extremists have attempted to murder federal immigration police officers. These are not peaceful protests that got out of hand. These are deliberate, coordinated assassination attempts against federal law enforcement officers of the United States.
 
Running battles have been fought at an immigration detention facility in Portland, Oregon, for weeks. Late last month, a Transtifa radical attempted to stab immigration police officers. Christopher Hudson, aka Julie Winters, was tased by officers and arrested. He is now facing 20 years in jail.
 
On the evening of July 4^th, a radical “squad” of at least 11 leftists attacked an immigration facility near Fort Worth, Texas, as part of a plot to kill immigration police.
 
Heavily armed and wearing body armor, one group vandalized vehicles and attacked the building with fireworks. This was a ruse to draw out the immigration police officers so a sniper hiding nearby in the woods could shoot them.
 
A local police officer who responded to the disturbance was shot in the neck. Thankfully, he is expected to survive. Another sniper fired at least 20 rounds at unarmed immigration officers. Fortunately, they were not hit.
 
This was a leftist “military” unit carrying out a violent insurrection against federal authorities. Ten of these extremists are facing charges of attempted murder of a federal official. Nancy Larson, acting US Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, said:
 
“This was an egregious attack on federal and local law enforcement officers, and it is part of an increasing trend of violence against them. This will not be tolerated. Those who use violence against law enforcement officers will be … prosecuted with the toughest criminal statutes and penalties that we have available to us.”
 
Monday, a heavily armed man attacked a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, on the southern border. McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez said the attacker was “loaded for bear” and fired “multiple dozens of rounds” attempting to kill immigration police.
 
The Border Patrol agents and local police officers returned fire and killed the attacker. Two Border Patrol agents and one police officer were injured in the attack.
 
The attempted killer had spray-painted a Latin phrase on his vehicle that is connected with a revolutionary communist movement dedicated to overthrowing capitalist governments.
 
It’s only a matter of time before immigration police officers, their spouses, or even their children are brutally murdered by crazed leftist killers.
 
Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Mullin blasted the “absolute silence” from Democrats regarding these violent attacks against federal immigration police. “Any other time, you’d have every Democrat out there saying that we need gun control,” Mullin said. “Now they’re not saying a word about it.”
