France has decided that the best way to respond to Palestinians murdering 1,200 Israeli civilians and promising to commit genocide against Jews is to reward them with their own terrorist state.
French President Emmanuel Macron broadcast to the world that he is on the side of Palestinian terrorists, announcing that France would formally recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations in two months. “True to its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine,” Macron said on social media. “I will make the solemn announcement at the United Nations General Assembly next September.”
Nothing says “lasting peace in the Middle East” quite like giving legitimacy to a country run by terrorists that regularly launches missiles into civilian populations with the goal of killing as many Jews as possible.
This is a full French surrender to Palestinian terrorists and antisemitism. Jewish schools, homes, businesses, and synagogues in France are the targets of vandalism by the pro-Palestine (read: pro-terrorism) zealots to whom Macron is now pandering. He has fallen hook, line, and sinker for the propaganda of Palestinian terrorists, even as Israel contorts itself to avoid civilian casualties while Hamas uses civilians as human shields. Israel has even gone out of its way to ensure that civilian aid makes it to civilians, rather than allowing it to be stolen by Hamas.

None of that matters to Macron, who is selling France’s national soul because he lacks the spine to stand against a genocidal terrorist regime in Gaza. On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas invaded Israel and brutally murdered every man, woman, and child they could. Hamas slaughtered some 1,200 civilians, and is still holding others hostage. Israel responded by trying to kill the terrorists responsible. France has responded by saying those terrorists deserve to be the government of an official, recognized country.
Whatever moral authority France had on the world stage is gone. Macron has sold out Jews across the world and sold out basic Western principles of morality. He wishes to reward Palestinian terrorists for perpetrating a massacre and for perpetuating this war by hiding in and under civilian buildings. Macron’s France had the opportunity to stand against terrorism and hate but instead chose to surrender.
