We are now in another epoch of lone-wolf attacks on American soil. While lone-wolf terrorism was never fully eradicated, there have been lulls. With the beginning of Operation Epic Fury in Iran, however, jihadis embedded within the United States have begun crawling out of the woodwork.

ISIS sympathizers tried to bomb a crowd of protesters in New York City.
Then last Thursday, we witnessed two other attacks. At Old Dominion University in Virginia, a radicalized terrorist who was previously convicted of trying to aid ISIS killed an ROTC instructor and injured several students. Other brave students ended the threat. In Michigan, a terrorist drove his car, rigged with explosives, into the building of a Jewish synagogue preschool. He then pulled out a rifle and shot at security guards. Meanwhile, the car caught on fire, and the security guards were able to quickly take out the would-be bomber, who died of his wounds. Thankfully, there was no loss of innocent life.
The Texas shooter was a naturalized citizen from Senegal. The NYC bombers were children of Afghan and Turkish parents who were naturalized but sent their sons back to the hotbed of terror in the Middle East. The Old Dominion shooter was a naturalized citizen from Sierra Leone who previously served jail time due to his providing aid to ISIS. The Michigan car bomber was a legal immigrant from Lebanon.

All of these attacks could have been prevented if previous administrations had cared more about the well-being of their own natural-born citizens. We have been at war with various entities in the Middle East on and off for decades. Why would we import them here, especially when we know that some factions of Islam have vowed to take down the United States, which they see as “The Great Satan”?
Interestingly enough, Democrats also argue these attacks were entirely preventable — but from a nonsensical angle. Some blame a lack of gun control for the attacks in Texas and Virginia. This was articulated by Norfolk, Virginia, Commonwealth’s Attorney Ramin Fatehi, who said:
We live in a country where people care more about guns than they care about six-year-old children. They care more about guns than they care about synagogue worshippers. And they care more about guns than they do about college students. What that means is that it does not matter how hard OCU President [Brian] Hemphill works or how hard the chiefs work; someone will be a victim eventually. It is a matter of time. And until there is the political will to break the spell of the cult of gun absolutism, you will see more incidents like this.
Leftists like Fatehi ignore the fact that criminals don’t actually follow the laws. They also ignore the fact that anti-gun laws are what protected the Austin and the Old Dominion killers. Both the bar in Texas and the classroom in Virginia were gun-free zones. But the biggest retort to this extraordinarily weak argument is that the government failed, not gun owners or the Second Amendment.
Other leftists have tried to blame these attacks on white supremacy and so-called Islamophobia. Ironically, during the attempted bombing attack in NYC, a leftist with a megaphone by the name of Walter Masterson was talking to the crowd about inclusion when one of the would-be bombers threw his device, using Masterson as a launching pad and a human shield.
Even though the terrorists literally proved Masterson wrong and gave every New Yorker reason to rethink their stance on Islam, the so-called “religion of peace,” Masterson wanted everyone to know that he still chooses not to be a bigot. This isn’t an act of selfless virtue; it’s a mindless commitment to the omnicause of leftism that has thoroughly rotted Masterson’s brain and worldview.
How long will leftists keep pushing these absurd talking points, even when the evidence is literally being launched over their heads? How long will they call the bad guys “white supremacists” or “Islamophobic” when Islamists are the ones committing acts of terrorism on our own soil? The Left loves to urinate on our legs while trying to convince us it’s raining, but this degree of gaslighting is absolutely insulting.
Bad immigration policy, arrogance, and utter stupidity are the reasons these attacks are even happening here. Yet the more the Left blames the victims and not the criminals, the more Americans will eventually see what a hollow shell of power-hungry monsters they are — monsters who would sell their own countrymen for the sake of a garbage narrative and faux morality.
