Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Jane Fonda, and Bernie Sanders, who have an average age of 83, and where Springsteen is the ‘young guy’ are going to Minnesota to protest the existence of kings. For some reason.
“You want to try to meet the moment,” a confused Springsteen, who like all progressive men, has morphed from ‘The Boss’ into an elderly lesbian, claimed. “The No Kings movement is of great import right now.”
That sounds like a man who doesn’t know what the moment is, what a moment is or what he’s even doing.
I didn’t realize Minnesota had a king. More of a clown. But Springsteen will do his utmost to meet a moment in Minnesota and try to cash in on whatever he thinks is going on before performing at the Target Center.
Anti-ICE leftists are currently boycotting Target for some confused reason. Much as they’re against kings for some confused reason. The upshot is that this will be a problem for Springsteen but he forgot to meet the moment.
But the audience for this sort of thing probably forgets a lot.
Bringing together Springsteen, Fonda and Baez is perfect for a Bernie Sanders appearance or any event where the average age is ancient. It’s not a great look for a movement that liked to pretend it was attracting the youth.
The good news is that the youth can’t quite grasp how funny an event with Fonda, Baez and Springsteen is either. It’s like every old liberal cliche combined.
