Docs Show FBI ‘Never Followed Up On’ Russia Hoax Info

Grassley said on Fox News on Thursday that the newly released Durham annex reveals that the FBI had information a decade ago “that they never followed up on” and that the agency “had a hand in” attempts to “stop Trump” via the Russia collusion hoax.

Grassley suggested the Durham annex “brings attention to the fact that there was either a Clinton conspiracy to make this happen, or Russian disinformation. But either way, it was an attempt to stop Trump.”

The annex shows that FBI officials “found two Russian-language memos and emails purportedly hacked by ‘individuals affiliated with Russian intelligence services’ to ‘likely not be credible.’” One of the documents indicated that the Clinton campaign was routinely obtaining information from Attorney General Loretta Lynch about “the plans and intentions of the FBI.” The FBI had information to implicate the AG but “declined to follow through because of how an investigation would look to the public,” in contrast to the agency’s willingness to lead the Russia collusion hoax against Trump, The Federalist’s Jordan Boyd reported.

Grassley said the release he’s been trying to get for three years is about “maximum transparency” after 10 years of “schemes” designed to stop “stop Trump from being elected or, after he’s elected, to ruin his presidency.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released a House report last week from 2020 that revealed how Obama intel officials used shoddy evidence over the objections of intel staffers to push the debunked claim that Russia wanted Trump to win the 2016 election. According to a press release from Grassley’s office the newly classified annex “expos[es] a reported Clinton campaign plan to falsely tie President Donald Trump to Russia” and the FBI’s “failure … to investigate intelligence that the Clinton campaign may have created the Russia collusion hoax.”

Grassley said he would defer to the FBI on claims that the “Durham annex” were found in “burn bags,” according to Fox News, but added, “I think it’s evidence of the great depth that the deep state will go to to cover up weaponization that was going on in the FBI and the executive branch of government, generally, under the Obama administration.”

“The public’s business ought to be public, and what the FBI does ought to be public as long as their investigations are done,” he said.

Former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, key participants in the Russia collusion hoax, published an op-ed on Wednesday with The New York Times calling the accusations against the Obama administration and others who engaged in the attempt to torpedo Trump’s presidency as “patently false.”

Grassley said they and former FBI Director James Comey are “trying to cover their hind end.”

“With the annex out,” Grassley said, “it finally proves that the FBI was covering up.”
