Clintons Would Rather Go To Prison Than Testify About Epstein

Bill and Hillary Clinton were asked to testify before a House hearing about Jeffrey Epstein.

“Every person has to decide when have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country,” the Clintons declare. “For us, now is that time.”

And they’re going to fight by not testifying about Epstein.

Their full reply was an 8-page letter that had more arm-waving and pulpit-pounding than unusual even for the Clintons, touching on…

1. Renee Good being shot after trying to drive over an ICE officer

2. The arrests of Muslim terrorists

3. Praise for Rep. Thomas Massie

4. Complaints that Epstein’s victims are being forced to “relive” their painful experiences.

5. Complaints about “decades-old photos” involving Epstein and the Clintons (like the one above) being released. (How old should photos involving a 90s president and sex offender be?)

6. A line about “pursuing autopens instead of penning laws” that someone thought was funny.

And…

7. They’re not coming.

The Clintons claim the congressional subpoenas are “unlawful”, because… Trump. Also this bizarre sentence, “you have chosen not to consider subpoenaing the sitting Attorney General to follow the law.”

“We have tried to give you the little information we have,” the Clintons wheedled. “We’ve done so because Mr. Epstein’s crimes were horrific. If the government didn’t do all it could to prosecute these crimes, for whatever reason, that should be the focus of your work.”

The people doing that were Clinton allies. So that is the ‘focus’.

The Clintons finally accused Rep. Comer of a process “designed to result in our imprisonment. This is not the way out of America’s ills.”

Make no mistake though the Clintons are trying to define their refusal to testify as a heroic ‘resistance’ measure rather than the tawdry and sleazy reality that it is.

Now, Contempt of Congress proceedings are being initiated.
