The DOJ has released more Epstein files including some risque Bill Clinton pics, but there were far more disturbing Epstein pictures out there. And the FBI was aware of them during the Clinton administration.
Justice Department files related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, released Friday, included a 1996 complaint to the FBI about the disgraced financier allegedly possessing and distributing “child pornography” about a decade before a federal investigation was launched into his predatory behavior with minors and young women.
The complaint was brought by Maria Farmer, who worked for Epstein in the 1990s and has for years said that she told police and federal investigators that Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell had sexually assaulted her. The FBI had never publicly acknowledged her original report.
This was the Louis Freeh FBI era and, for those who remember, Freeh made James Comey look like J. Edgar Hoover. Half the time it seemed like Hillary Clinton was the real FBI Director.
1996 was the year of Clinton’s Chinese election scandal which the FBI tried to cover up and then tried to ‘uncover’ up only to have Janet Reno cover it up again.
By then, Epstein was already deep inside the Clinton inner circle. So you can understand perfectly well why the FBI might have ‘lost’ that little complaint about a Clinton pal.
The Clintons are filing their usual protests.
“The White House hasn’t been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton,” a Clinton spokesman tweeted. “This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they’ll try and hide forever. So they can release as many grainy 20-plus-year-old photos as they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. Never has, never will be.”
Who was president in 1996? Who were the prosecutors in Florida and New York City who chose to give Epstein a pass? Who could have protected Epstein from prosecution? It wasn’t a real estate tycoon in Manhattan, but it could have been the president and his aspiring presidential spouse.
