Re: The Dangerous Conspiracies of Candace Owens
“I’ve always found Candace Owens to be a beautiful, intelligent, articulate woman who was a defender of our freedoms, the Constitution, conservatism, and Christian beliefs and values. I thought she was a great debater and always spoke the truth, as she knew it. It saddens me that Owens would allow herself to spew nonsense, especially the things she’s alluded to about Charlie Kirk while his family, friends, and the public are still mourning his loss.” —California
Re: Google Admits Biden Pressured Censorship
“Google’s ‘remedy’ of reinstating the YouTube accounts it had removed is merely a symbolic attempt to appear contrite about quashing thousands of livelihoods under the pretense of guarding the public from ‘misinformation’ and ‘disinformation,’ i.e., opinions with which it disagreed. Google’s ‘remedy’ should more accurately be seen as an attempt to recapture the revenue streams it lost when those accounts were cancelled.” —Kentucky
Re: A Call to Defend Free Speech and Open Dialogue
“Mr Hampton’s essay is a very timely, thoughtful, and measured discussion of the issue. It is one thing for a business entity like Disney/ABC or its affiliate stations to decide that they do not want to be associated with a celebrity like Jimmy Kimmel (for whatever reason), and thus to drop his show temporarily or permanently; that is NOT censorship and is no violation of the First Amendment. It is entirely different, and reprehensible if not unconstitutional, for any president (or the FCC) to pressure companies to shut down Kimmel because he dislikes Kimmel’s viewpoint.” —Minnesota
Re: Leftmedia Lie: Conservatives Aim to ‘Exterminate Trans People’
“A relationship with a ‘transgender’ person would seem to be the epitome of a ‘love/hate’ relationship; while you may ‘love’ and care about the person in question, you must surely ‘hate’ the mental affliction that is creating such unhappiness and stress in them. Your support is not to create ‘change’ for them, but rather to guide them to see themselves as God intended them to be — human.” —Texas
Re: Trump’s Strategy Against Venezuela
“Semantics aside, I’m all for targeting and destroying the drugs at the source and/or in transport. LEOs spend an incredible amount of time and resources building a case against drug traffickers and making arrests. Then, after years of delays, the court case gets dismissed or watered down to insignificant jail sentences by the shenanigans of the high-priced shysters and liberal judges. A better use of resources would be to seize and destroy the drugs as soon as the stockpile is identified. Keep intercepting the drugs and confiscating the monies without worrying about building a ‘case’ for prosecution. LEOs hitting them at the source without having to spend years building a case will have more impact on the drug trade than bringing them to trial.” —California
“When we consider that certain state actors (Venezuela and China) use drug trafficking for the conscious purpose of weakening the U.S., that tactic can rightly be characterized as chemical warfare and is thus an appropriate target for the U.S. military. The alternative would be to arm the DEA with the same missiles used by the military to take out these drug boats. Do we really want to do that?” —Arizona
Re: The Status of the Navy: Part III
“The nation is NOT failing the Navy; Navy leadership is failing the Navy. One need look no further than the abysmal condition of U.S. Navy ship design and construction. Hundreds of billions wasted, a decade or more behind schedule, ship classes that are military jokes, and nary an Admiral fired.” —Texas
Re: All Things
“Grandfather was fond of reminding me that if you are not happy with what you already have, how do you know you will be happy with more?” —Illinois
