“If the FBI wants to come after those who support the resistance done by Hezbollah… I for one would be willing to go to jail.”

During the 2024 election, the Biden and Kamala campaigns frantically courted Dearborn, Michigan due to the Islamic terrorist occupied city’s outrage over Hamas and then Hezbollah losing wars to Israel.
When a Wall Street Journal op-ed pointed out that Dearborn was a Jihadi city, there were condemnations from Biden, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who has her own Jihadi ties, and every leading Democrat. Instead, Dems continued conducting outreach to local players including Osama Siblani and Mayor Abdullah Hammoud.
After the Hamas atrocities of Oct 7, Dearborn Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud had addressed a pro-Hamas rally declaring that Dearborn was “the city of resistance”.
In 2022, Mayor Hammoud spoke at an NGP Dearborn rally at which Osama Siblani, the publisher of Arab American News, declared, “We are the Arabs that are going to lift Palestinians all the way to victory. Whether we are in Michigan, and whether we are in Jenin. Believe me. Everyone should fight within his means. They will fight with stones. Others will fight with guns. Others will fight with planes, drones. And others will fight with rockets. And others will fight in their voice, and the others will fight with their hands and say free, free Palestine!”
“Mr. Bush believes Hezbollah, Hamas and other Palestinian factions are terrorists, but we believe they are freedom fighters,” Osama Siblani had told the Washington Post.
The Chicago Tribune had quoted Osama boasting, “If the FBI wants to come after those who support the resistance done by Hezbollah, then they better bring a fleet of buses. I for one would be willing to go to jail.”
At the November rally where Hammoud spoke, Osama had bragged, “We are on the road to a great victory, here in D.C., and there in Palestine.”
So now a street in Dearborn is being named after the Hamas supporter. And there was Christian opposition.
At a Dearborn City Council meeting last week, Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud told local resident Edward “Ted” Barham, a Christian, that he was “not welcome” in the city after Barham raised concerns about new street signs honoring Arab American News publisher Osama Siblani.
He said, “He’s a promoter of Hezbollah and Hamas” before quoting past remarks from Siblani, including, “He talks about how the blood of the martyrs irrigates the land of Palestine … whether we are in Michigan and whether we are in Yemen. Believe me, everyone should fight within his means. They will fight with stones, others will fight with guns, others fight with planes, drones, and rockets.”
Barham compared the signs to naming a road “Hezbollah Street or Hamas Street,” calling them “provocative” and stressing that as a Christian, he wanted to encourage peace. He closed by quoting Jesus: “Blessed are the peacemakers.”
Mayor Hammoud responded with remarks that shocked many in attendance. “The best suggestion I have for you is to not drive on Warren Avenue or to close your eyes while you’re doing it. His name is up there and I spoke at a ceremony celebrating it because he’s done a lot for this community,” Hammoud said.
He went further, accusing Barham of being “a bigot, and you are racist, and you’re an Islamophobe,” before declaring: “Although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here. And the day you move out of the city will be the day that I launch a parade celebrating the fact that you moved out of this city.”

If there were any doubt about what Mayor Hammoud is or what Dearborn has become, it’s been dispelled.
Other members of the Dearborn City Council insisted that Osama was non-violent.
Councilman Robert Abraham responded: “He’s not a violent person, and you can interpret his words any way you want, but I will guarantee you he is not intending to incite violence anywhere in the world.”
How much interpreting do you need to do of “everyone should fight within his means. They will fight with stones. Others will fight with guns. Others will fight with planes, drones.”
