Charlie Kirk’s books rise on Amazon bestseller list posthumously

Four of the late Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk‘s books have rocketed up Amazon’s bestseller list after his death.

One of the books, “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life,” hasn’t been released yet, but is No. 2 on the list. The book is set to come out in December.

Three other Kirk books — “Right Wing Revolution: How to Beat the Woke and Save the West” (2024); “The College Scam: How America’s Universities Are Bankrupting and Brainwashing Away the Future of America’s Youth” (2022); and “Time for a Turning Point: Setting a Course Toward Free Markets and Limited Government for Future Generations” (2021) — are also on the top-10 list.

Kirk’s college book has the fourth spot, the “revolution” tome has the sixth spot, and Kirk’s 2021 book takes up the seventh spot.

Kirk’s latest book is touted as a way for Kirk to tell readers how “to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with God, family, and yourself in a way that nurtures your soul.”

“In a world dominated by screens and constant noise, Stop in the Name of God presents the Sabbath as a radical act of resistance,” the book’s description adds.

Kirk died on Wednesday after a gunman shot and killed him while he spoke at a Utah university. His alleged killer, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, is awaiting a court date, and his motivations are unknown.

Following his death, an enormous outcry from both political parties mourned Kirk and his free speech legacy. Some have also mocked or criticized him posthumously, and those people have faced consequences from the Trump administration or their peers.

Kirk’s spouse, Erika, announced Friday that his campus tour and his radio and podcast show will continue.

It’s unclear what the attendance or viewership numbers look like, though his book numbers have signaled a greater interest in Kirk.
