Newsom opens ‘Patriot Shop’ in latest parody of Trump

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) took another swipe at President Donald Trump on Sunday, launching a new store selling merchandise parodying the president.

Newsom promoted this new store on X, saying the store “already sold out” of the Bible. The governor’s comment is likely a dig at musician Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA Bible,” which Trump endorsed in March 2024.

The store also features a “Newsom 2026” coffee mug, possibly referencing the “Trump 2028” hats the Trump Organization started selling in April.

Additionally, the store is selling a T-shirt bearing the same painting Newsom’s press office posted on X last week that portrays musician Kid Rock, commentator Tucker Carlson, and an angelic version of the late Hulk Hogan praying over Newsom.

GAVIN NEWSOM IS THE LIKELY DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE

Kid Rock distanced himself from the Newsom press office’s social media campaign, calling the governor “Newscum,” which Trump coined when he visited the southern border last year.

Trump dished criticism against Newsom on Friday, calling the governor “incompetent.” Newsom retorted with Trump-style mockery, writing on X, “Such low energy. SAD!”
