Greg Gutfeld, host of Fox News’s late-night show Gutfeld!, will appear as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday, a crossover he expects will be “fun.”
Gutfeld! is growing in attention in the late-night television genre, besting other shows like the soon-to-be-canceled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Gutfeld’s appearance will be at 11:35 p.m. EST Thursday, and tonight’s episode will feature performances by The Jonas Brothers.
Gutfeld joked last Friday that his appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show is a reunion with the band, saying he was part of it until the other members kicked him out “for being too hot.”
“But it should be fun! Fallon seems like a great, genuine guy who wants to make people laugh instead of putting them to bed angrier than The View at a salad bar,” Gutfeld said last Friday on Fox News’s Gutfeld!
“And unlike the other guys, Jimmy sitting with me proves he’s not afraid of upsetting his peers or afraid of my mesmerizing charm,” Gutfeld said.
Gutfeld also compared his invitation on Fallon’s show to when the NBC host invited then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in 2016. Gutfeld said Fallon was “eviscerated” by critics for “messing” with Trump’s hair.

However, Gutfeld said it’s “a different time now,” and it’s possible people can “have fun” despite political beliefs. He also said he’d “not complain” if Fallon rubbed his hair since the last man to receive a hair rub from Fallon “became president.”
Last week, Gutfeld’s show drew attention from Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who challenged the “tough guy” host to a bench press challenge. Gutfeld said in response that he was “busy lifting other things,” such as “Fox News ratings.”
