Re: Behind Trump’s Iran Nuke Deal Negotiations

“Another factor in discussions with Iran is non-weapons use of highly enriched uranium, which Iran claims is its objective. Five percent fissile material is adequate for electric power generation, but naval propulsion reactors can be smaller and lighter for a given power output if the fuel is more highly enriched, and they can go longer without refueling. Russian submarines are said to run on 20% fuel, and American and British naval reactors are reputed to use full weapons-grade uranium (93.5% uranium).” —Minnesota

Re: Bringing Back the Dream of Homeownership

“I was born in 1934 and lived in a small town in Western New York. From 1935 to 1955, our home was occupied by my parents, my grandmother, my great-grandmother, and four children. We had one automobile, one big Philco radio, and one TV in the late ‘40s. My father’s salary was $25,000 annually — that was a lot of money, but we never had multiple cars, TVs, etc. Today, a family will have as many cars, TVs, and cellphones as there are people. Hmmmm!” —Mississippi

“Homeownership is a good thing provided you understand there is more to it than just a loan and a key. There are far more responsibilities, chores, and maintenance than with a rental. What if there were training classes at trade schools or home improvement stores to ready new owners? In the right environment, new friendships and networking could develop.” —Alabama

Re: The Inevitable Trump-Musk Divorce

“Embedded resistance to fiscal responsibility is the best defense for term limits. The longer they stay, the more manipulative they become. It is the nature of politicians that they first act as if they serve the people, followed by the learning of how to be self-serving. Two terms and out would probably save our country from bankruptcy and maybe even more military exposure. Remember when that Washington State congresswoman promised she would only stay for two terms? She probably doesn’t either.” —Washington

“It blows my mind that none of the political commentators or people analyzing the situation mention that Elon Musk has Asperger’s. This is happening because he has Asperger’s. He said stupid crap on the Internet publicly because he has Asperger’s. He said something completely unforgivable in anger because he has Asperger’s. You cannot call someone a pedophile and demand that they be impeached flippantly and think everything’s going to be OK unless you have Asperger’s — then it makes perfect sense. It’s very sad. President Trump, I’m sure, will be very gentle with him but can no longer trust him or allow him in the inner circle, and that’s because of the man’s extreme autism and inability to understand social cues and taboos.” —Colorado

Re: The ‘Coexist’ People Are Burning Stuff Again

“Nancy Pelosi is worried her household help and lawn maintenance will be deported. The stupid wealthy of California do not want to part with their illegals, because who will do the manual labor? They have admitted as such. Trump is interfering in their plan. Notice that none of the minimum wage laws of California cover domestic help. Let it burn. Maybe less of California will make the USA stronger.” —Wisconsin

“Perhaps people don’t realize the extent to which ‘sanctuary cities’ become foreign countries. My extended family lives in Chicago. Just going around the area with them, I feel like a foreigner myself in most places, as there are more Hispanics and other foreign cultures than there are whites or blacks. I have no doubt these places — if left to multiply with these people unchecked — will eventually more closely resemble the various host nations and not what we have long associated with being America.” —Oklahoma

“The majority of Californians and Angelinos are tired of the Newsom/Bass/Pelosi leftist policies that consistently result in our streets being taken over by rioters and looters who face no consequences. It’s the ultimate result of the policies that the Democrat supermajority in Sacramento has been espousing for years. So hell yes, send in the National Guard and arrest all the rioters and looters. And take Newsom with them. Deport the illegals and arrest the rest. Believe me, gutless Gavin is not going to get in the way!” —California

“A faction in California, with the open support of California governments, is engaging in violent insurrection against Article VI of the Constitution and laws duly passed according to Article I. This is far more obviously an insurrection than the Capitol incursion of January 6, 2021. The governor’s poorly concealed sympathy with the insurrection should not be a barrier to taking necessary measures to suppress it and prosecute the culprits.” —Minnesota
