Arrest them all.
Used to be that it was enough for a ‘progressive’ Dem to just get a photo op crying crocodile tears outside a fence on ICE property. But radicalism requires radical measures. It’s no longer enough just to go on MSNBC and call for abolishing ICE. Not even rallies are enough. True commitment requires either aiding and abetting illegal alien criminals to escape from ICE or physically assaulting police officers and immigration personnel in defense of illegal aliens. And then getting arrested.
Take this latest case and arrest.
The Worcester city councilor who tried to block the arrest of a criminal illegal immigrant accused of assaulting her pregnant daughter has been charged in connection with the chaotic altercation.
City Councilor Etel Haxhiaj has been charged with one count each of assault and battery on a police officer and interfering with police during the controversial ICE showdown, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette first reported.
Body camera footage that the Worcester Police Department released a week after the clash shows Haxhiaj grabbing at ICE officers and mouthing, “Don’t touch me!” She’s heard shouting, “Do not take her!” “You do not show any warrants, get out of our neighborhood.”
The surprising thing here isn’t Etel’s behavior, it’s the actual consequences. But look for more local Dems to try and make the national leap by getting into confrontations with ICE.
Arrest them all.
