Re: The 250th Anniversary of America’s Armed Forces
“Alexander wrote: ‘Thank God that this 250th year of the founding of our Armed Forces, and next year’s sestercentennial celebration of American Independence, did not fall under the ludicrous administration of the Harris/Walz duo.’ Add my name and those of every veteran I know to the list of those thankful that Trump defeated that Democrat Party duo.” —Massachusetts
Re: Trump’s Middle East Shift Is About Deals, Not Democracy
“Trump plays a long game. Rather than exporting America’s government style to foreign nations, he exports Middle America friendliness. How many times has he advocated the overthrow of a government? Not once. How many times has he advocated to stop war and killing? More than I can count! His game is simple: Show them who we really are; show them what we can do. They may not love us, but they will learn to respect us. The beginning of friendship begins with respect. As we look around the world today, we see the good, the bad, and the ugly. People around the world can easily tell where America now stands in that triumvirate.” —Nevada
Re: Should Trump Take Qatar’s Gift?
“The DOD should take the plane and then put the upgrades out for bid. Boeing would be forced to either get its act together or just fold on the ability to compete. Odds are good that Qatar has not been able to recoup costs through leasing and is doing itself a favor.” —Michigan
Re: The Growing Fatigue With Contradictions in the Black Community
“A constant comment from real black leaders, not the hustlers, is that the answers to issues within the greater black community lie within the community. I agree with that. There needs to be a different appreciation. The Irish, Italians, Mexicans, Poles, and Vietnamese have all come here and succeeded. The black community self-handicaps with their insistence on being victims and being assigned a special status. It’s never worked. It will never work. Good luck.” —Alabama
“‘As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.’ (1 Timothy 6:17) While we enjoy a time of historically unparalleled riches, we are also some of the most miserable people in history, simply due to forgetting the above principle. We have allowed the cultural influencers to create a culture based on greed and envy. We cannot charge the rich not to be haughty while being proud and coveting their wealth.” —Tennessee
Re: Intimidating Women to Support Trans Athlete
“The current Minnesota government and State High School League are deaf to reality on this issue; don’t expect them to change their dogma. But female athletes have an alternative: form an extra-mural sports league, independent of the government schools. The Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference demonstrates that it is possible; one of its members is a homeschool association. Another possibility is for parents to pressure school boards into withdrawing from the MSHSL.” —Minnesota
“It is time for the real girls to stand up and boycott the sports they love until boys are forbidden to play. If there are so many transitioned or self-identified non-girl girls playing girl sports then give them their own league … a non-binary league.” —Massachusetts
“The problem is much greater than an inability to produce EVs at an acceptable price point. To be truly ‘net-zero,’ the electricity for charging the vehicles must also be ‘carbon-free.’ That’s not attainable without building dozens of nuclear power plants, which is also unacceptable to European environmentalists. Let’s see if somebody is brave enough to tell the greenies to shut up and go plant some trees; that will be far more constructive.” —Minnesota
“Why are conservatives so intent on trying to help the hapless Democrats resolve their political inadequacies? As long as they continue to shoot themselves in the proverbial foot, leave them alone.” —Ohio
Re: For Many Veterans, the Vietnam War Never Ended
“I am one of those Viet Nam vets. Marine infantry officer, three tours, 1968-71. Thank you for acknowledging this and for The Patriot Post’s devotion to active-duty military and veterans! Semper Fi!” —Virginia
Re: Profiles of Valor: CSM Matt Williams (USA)
“Always uplifting to read about the actions of a great American Patriot, written by great American Patriots! The Patriot Post keeps me mindful of my blessings from my Heavenly Father and the nation He gave us. God bless your mission.” —California
