Re: Trump’s 100 Days of Shock and Awe
“The most balanced and well-reasoned summary of Trump’s first hundred days in office I have read. And Harris shows up for the first time in months to criticize Trump? Kamala who? What a cackling clown.” —Massachusetts
“I was fascinated again to read about the ‘pollaganda effect’ and media polling. Good on you for formulating this assessment of how the MSM uses polls as propaganda.” —Florida
“Needless to say, all the naysayers and doomsday predictions are coming from the same folks and MSM talkingheads that for four years told us Biden was sharp as a tack and the economy was great!” —California
“Wow. That was a great read — good, bad, and ugly. The Patriot Post tells it like it is, and Alexander’s closing said it all: ‘I’m all in!’” —New York
“For the life of me, I have no idea why a country where it’s almost always raining needs to block the sun. They don’t get much sun to begin with!” —California
“Just a bad idea, especially for a country known for being grey and cloudy, not to mention the probability of reduced power output from wind turbines and solar that Britain is becoming more reliant on for electric power. By dimming the sun, streetlights etc. will stay on longer due to their sensors being fooled into dusk coming earlier and dawn later due to reduced sunlight reaching the photocells in the sensors. The British Isles will probably end up in a drought as well due to these shenanigans.” —Tennessee
“This is indeed a crazy idea. Older readers may recall when acid rain was a major concern, especially when it damaged historic stone buildings and degraded forests and lakes. Sulfur dioxide, which reacts with water to form sulfuric acid, and nitrogen oxides, which likewise form nitrous or nitric acid, were identified as primary causative pollutants. This is quick and dirty, but it will do more harm than good. It may take longer to see the effects of planting more trees, but that is more effective.” —Minnesota
“I’m announcing a series of measures against El Salvador for aiding [Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s] unconstitutional deportation scheme.” —Illinois Governor JB Pritzker
“Heartwarming. Too bad this slob can’t muster the same zeal for safeguarding the rights of the 30,000+ LEGAL U4U immigrants residing in Illinois, or lobbying to secure a path to permanent residency status for them. You know, 30,000+ non-parasitic self-starters who would strengthen the national fabric, not rip it apart.” —Illinois
Re: Our Processed Food Isn’t Worth Dye-ing For
“Another additive to go after is titanium dioxide (TiO2). It’s used as a white pigment in canned clam chowder, sauces, glazes, and frosting. A number of studies in the last eight years have shown an association with TiO2 particles in the pancreas and Type 2 diabetes with obesity, including a correlation between Body Mass Index and the amount of TiO2. It may also have a role in liver problems. TiO2’s place on the FDA Generally Recognized as Safe list is due for a review.” —Minnesota
Re: Measuring Amazon’s David Against the Bible’s David
“I don’t get my theology from movies; I go to be entertained. The series was pretty good: 6 or 7 out of 10. I knew it wouldn’t follow the Bible in its entirety, and that’s okay. There were some really strong biblical scenes though.” —Illinois
Re: ‘House of David’ — A Second Opinion
“Excellent review! Many years ago I read the book What If, which imagined past events with different outcomes. I was hooked by this thought-provoking method of historical consideration. I am hooked on the ‘David’ series for the same reason. As the producers are careful to note in the opening frames, this is storytelling. This is entertainment. This is What If in a quality package! Let us be thankful and enjoy.” —Texas
“This perspective was refreshing, and at age 25, it resonated with me. I have many friends who are ‘unchurched’ but have been equally enthralled by ‘House of David.’ And to the author’s point, I am grateful for this production and the opening it has created to discuss faith. Thank you for your second opinion!” —Colorado
“Thank goodness for a voice of reason and common sense. The production of a series like ‘David’ made it accessible for a wide audience, which will soften more hearts to the word of God. And thanks to ‘The Chosen’ series for breaking ground so ‘House of David’ could take root!” —California
Re: The Illegal Immigration Nightmare
“President Trump’s efforts to deport illegal aliens include defunding complicit NGOs, closing SSA benefit loopholes, defunding sanctuary states, and enforcing E-Verify employment laws. Congress must rein in district court judges. These actions plus ‘if you wait to be deported — and you will be — you will never again be granted access to our great country’ all lead to rapid self-deportation. Both legal immigrants and American workers would be harmed if illegal aliens were rewarded with residency.” —Florida
Re: Another Awful Martyr on the Left
“The bigger the donations are, the more money Jeff Metcalf can sue the Anthony family for. More power to him. That kid brought a lethal weapon to a track meet. Did he really plan on running peacefully in circles? Was his presence in the opposing team’s tent an innocent mistake or an intentional provocation? It’s exceptionally easy to see who the racists are in this sad story. Too bad they fail to look at themselves…” —Florida
Re: Dems Are Losing in the Digital Age
“While all of this is true, it still just highlights the power of the media. Anybody paying attention would have known, despite media lies, that the Democrats did silence the truth, did bury the Hunter Biden laptop story, did cause the 2020 riots, and did use the pandemic for political gain despite the health threat to millions. They didn’t have the majority of opinions in 2020, either. The reason they don’t mind taking the 20% on the issues is because they know they still have the 80+% of the media. With even a basic level of competence, that may be enough.” —Tennessee
