This week, HBO Max’s The Pitt premiered another illegal immigration episode and it was an over-the-top anti-ICE tirade.
On Thursday’s episode, “5:00 p,m.,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents bring in a patient, Pranita (Laëtitia Hollard), who they claim tore her rotator cuff while fleeing arrest. Side glances from the doctors imply that they think the agents actually injured the illegal.
As the hour in the emergency room progresses, medical staff complain that the agents’ presence is causing illegals in the jam-packed waiting area to leave.
Illegals leaving an already overwhelmed emergency room is not the pro-open borders message the writers think it is.
Inside the hospital, immigrant nurses legally in the U.S. on temporary work status start going home for the day out of fear for their safety. Why their bosses do not assure them that they are under no threat is a mystery. The Pitt is a universe designed around media and Democratic party propaganda. This show has averaged 10 million viewers, a real hit in streaming TV. It’s won the latest Emmy and Golden Globe awards for Outstanding Drama Series.
“Can’t we just tell the agents to f*ck off?” charge nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa) asks Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Noah Wyle), the senior physician. Growing frustrated, Dr. “Robby” angrily orders an ICE agent to leave.

Ordered out, the ICE agent goes back to Pranita’s room to take her away. After being informed that she still needs a sling, the agent aggressively grabs Pranita’s injured arm. A nurse tries to intervene and is arrested by ICE, causing a dramatic scene in the ER.

The left-wing narrative of ICE agents as out-of-control monsters is now complete. The only thing missing from the villainous caricature is actual horns and devil costumes.
Of course, Pranita is portrayed as a sweet innocent woman cruelly caught while just trying to work. There is no concern about her criminal crossing and the harm that comes to American citizens by her working either under the table or through identity theft.
This episode follows an earlier storyline this season in which a delinquent and drunk Haitian child was in dire straits because his illegal immigrant parents were deported.
The Pitt has yet to portray any stories of the countless victims of illegal immigrant crimes who are brought into emergency rooms in the United States every day. Hospital dramas never show the people harmed by open borders. The only “victims” on these shows are the lawbreakers.
HBO Max supposedly told The Pitt producer John Wells to make sure this season’s ICE storyline was balanced. If that was the goal, The Pitt failed miserably.
