I know you’re every bit as shocked as I am, but Alex Pretti, the man we were told was a lovely ICU nurse and humanitarian who was shot and killed for no reason at all after trying to help a woman get up off the ground, had previously been in a confrontation with federal law enforcement and gotten a broken rib.
This is a minor detail the media didn’t see fit to inform us of (much like the fact that the ICE officer rammed by Renee Good ended up going to the hospital) while it regaled us how Pretti was an ‘austere religious scholar’ (sorry, according to the media that was the head of ISIS) who never intended to harm anyone and couldn’t even kill flies.
Alex Pretti was known to the feds and suffered a broken rib in a violent confrontation with agents a week before Border Patrol officers killed him in Minneapolis, according to a report.
Pretti, an ICU nurse, told a pal he saw ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot, and stopped his car during the earlier incident around a week before he was shot last Saturday, CNN reported.
He said he pulled over in his car and began shouting and blowing on a whistle, at which point he was tackled by five agents, the source said.
“That day, he thought he was going to die,” the source said, adding that Pretti had been released by agents at the scene.
Uh-huh. Minneapolis is full of idiots blowing whistles. Law enforcement can and does overreact, but he wouldn’t have been tackled by agents for blowing a whistle. Not unless he escalated that confrontation much more than that.
But it does also explain why he brought a gun to a protest rally.
After getting a rib broken, he decided to bring a gun for the next time he got into a violent confrontation on behalf of illegal aliens. And ended up dead.
It’s a vital piece of the puzzle we were denied so the media and its allied leftist activists could ‘flood the zone’ with depictions of a saintly ICU nurse.
They never did manage why said saintly nurse brought a gun to a confrontation with law enforcement. The sorts of guys who run around trying to block ICE aren’t carrying guns because they’re worried about being mugged.
We now know why he brought the gun. We know he was a career violent radical. We also know the media is lying to us. And that the media will quickly move on its next martyr, its next lie and its next campaign to protect illegal alien criminals.
