Order Michael Finch’s new book, A Time to Stand: HERE. Prof. Jason Hill calls it “an aesthetic and political tour de force.”
The latest Muslim assault on Christians in Central Africa took place in the Congo, where the Islamic State (ISIS) managed to slaughter people at a diocesan hospital that nuns run. But the international media, save for a handful of Christian sites, have been silent about this attack. They don’t have room to report on it; the “genocide” in Gaza takes up all of their bandwidth. More on this silence can be found here: “Christian mothers beheaded while nursing babies? The West yawns,” by Giulio Meotti, Israel National News, November 21, 2025:
…Seventeen people, including eleven nursing mothers, are the victims of a terrorist attack on a hospital in Congo. “Women who were breastfeeding were brutally massacred and found with their throats slit in their hospital beds,” said Kiwewa.
The facility attacked by ISIS terrorists is a diocesan medical center run by nuns.
Giovanni Piumatti, an Italian priest who served for over fifty years in the area, revealed: “The most tragic thing, beyond the number of innocent victims, is the way they kill – they slit civilians’ throats, they behead them. It’s horrible. Here they killed mothers while they were breastfeeding their babies. These massacres go beyond all imagination and happen almost every week. Many are never reported.”
Bishop Melchisedech Paluku Sikuli of the Diocese of Butembo-Beni told Newsweek: “Catholics are being killed in hospital beds amid religious persecution.”
“Where is the UN?”, asks Le Figaro. “The Secretary-General of the United Nations, usually very eloquent, is conspicuously absent. Never missing an opportunity for a lyrical outburst to denounce Donald Trump’s policies toward his South American neighbors, to stigmatize Israel, or to criticize the ban on the abaya in French schools, António Guterres remains strangely silent about the situation of Christians in this part of the world.
“It is as if the life of a Christian had no value in the vast global marketplace of moral and diplomatic virtues. This selective emphasis speaks volumes about what the United Nations has become.”…
The West has lost the courage not only to fight, but even to tell the truth. Trutth [sic], which in these times of concealment, is already truly a form of heroism.
Why are there no UN peacekeepers being sent to protect Christian civilians from Muslim attackers in central and northern Nigeria? Why have the peacekeepers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo been so unwilling to engage with the ISIS killers?
Since the UN refuses to act, why has no Western nation, or a coalition of them, not sent troops to defend the Christians being massacred? President Trump threatened to send troops to protect Christians in Nigeria whom Boko Haram has been slaughtering, but instead of following through on that threat, he has lapsed into silence.
What is this great fear of offending Muslims worldwide? In Trump’s case, might It be because he wants to curry favor with Saudi Arabia, in order that it will invest one trillion dollars in the United States and, also of great importance for him, put billions of dollars into the Trump family’s cryptocurrency firm, World Liberty Financial? He also wants no problems to arise as he completes his vast projects in the Kingdom — the Trump Riyadh, and Trump Jeddah. Are the imperiled Christians in Africa whom Muslims are now slaughtering the collateral damage from Trump’s insensate greed?
