Re: ‘Tis the Season for TDS Family Fractures

“A great reminder that when family and friends have deep-seated fears and angst, they deserve compassion, not conflict. Easier said than done, but seeing the root of the conflict for what it is certainly helps keep the peace.” —Virginia

“The state of political discourse in our country can be traced back to three people for the most part: Bill and Hillary Clinton, and James Carville. When they decided that holding on to political power was more important than the Office of the Presidency and the important political institutions of this country, we started down this continuous rathole. Can we ever put the lid back on it and agree to have civil debate and discussions again? Not as long as there are people who put their political agendas ahead of our nation’s first principles.” —Georgia

Re: The Scummy Six Insurrectionists

“All of these people have taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Article IV, Section 4 says, ‘The United States shall guarantee to every state in this Union a Republican form of Government and shall protect each of them against invasion.’ Protection against invasion includes deporting illegal border crossers as well as attacks on drug boats.” —Colorado

“Yet if you look at Democrat polls, they say they will win the midterm elections. How is this possible with all of the baloney the Democrats are pulling out of their hats?” —Illinois

“I find it particularly rich that the Scummy Six are now hiding behind our Constitution, directing our military members to disobey what they consider to be unconstitutional orders. This comes from the very same party that has directly attacked our Second Amendment rights, passing numerous laws, restrictions, regulations, and requirements at all levels of government. Many of them are blatantly attacking what is clearly stated in our Bill of Rights.” —New York

“Wasn’t it the Democrats who weaponized the Patriot Act against American citizens? Wasn’t it Senator Charles Schumer who suggested that the intelligence community would go after President Trump? I think it’s pretty clear which side is a threat to the Republic.” —Montana

Re: Redistricting Battle Heats Up

“When it comes to gerrymandering, a simple solution would be for each state to be allotted representatives to the House based on the average split of voters. Meaning that in Illinois, for example, if 45% of the vote is Republican, then Republicans should have 45% of the representatives.” —Illinois

Re: The Blackout Boycott Hypocrisy

“I struggle with the idea that government can invest in anything. The government does not produce any revenue of its own making, nor can it. Most government spending is unconstitutional, given the above, and amounts to charity. The purpose of funds in government possession is to provide for defense, number one, and the welfare of the people, being those for whom taxes are withheld.” —Delaware

Re: Minnesota Somalis Are Funding Terrorists

“MN’s downward slide began in the early 1950s with the election of Hubert Humphrey. In the early ‘90s, a company just south of where I lived for 26 years needed workers and recruited Somalis. Later, I had several Somali patients and I asked them when they would return to Somalia. They all answered, ‘When the fighting stops.’ Just like the communists taking over the country slowly since Wilson, Somalis have been taking over the country. Everyone thought it couldn’t happen here, but it did.” —Minnesota

Re: Newsom’s COP30 Climate Gambit

“So, why doesn’t the honest scientific community hold its own conference with just those guidelines? Has anyone with any clout even thought about that? Do we all have to listen to this nonsense from idiotic, self-centered ‘true believers’ about how a climate that continually goes through changes is all of a sudden going to end the world as we know it?” —South Carolina

Re: Googled!

“Coming to Jesus is truly a life-changer, as I and countless others will attest to. Pray for the many unsaved to cry out to Him for salvation. ‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.’ (2 Cor. 5:17) Today is the day of salvation!” —North Carolina

Re: Profiles of Valor: PFC Carlos Lozada

“Thank you, Mark Alexander and your team, for your terrific series on our MOH heroes. This should be required part of high school civics curricula, rather than homage to Greta Thunberg!” —Florida

Re: Profiles of Valor: Brig Gen Robin Olds (USAF) Triple Ace

“I was at USAFA when Col Olds took over. There was not a single cadet in the entire wing who was not super hyped to have him there. We loved him and admired him and wanted to be just like him.” —Alabama
