8 Ways Joe Biden’s Handlers Tried To Hide His Mental Decline

While president, Joe Biden turned feeble before the nation’s eyes. His closest allies — his chief of staff, doctor, even his wife — refused to stop him from making a fool of himself on the world stage. They treated him like a puppet, abused the highest office in the land, and with the help of the propaganda press, lied to the American people all the while.

A report released this week by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform  tells us what we already knew but with greater detail. The 100-page report, “The Biden Autopen Presidency: Decline, Delusion, and Deception in the White House,” shows how members of Biden’ trusted inner circle were willing to do just about anything to keep him in office.

The committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., has asked the Department of Justice to investigate the actions of members of the inner circle, and its findings related to executive actions signed by the autopen.

“President Biden’s inner circle worked tirelessly and creatively to conceal the president’s bad days — whether it was through Hollywood filmmakers or aides disguised as the Easter Bunny,” the report said.

Here is what the report says about how Biden’s handlers managed his presidency.

No Mental Exam

Biden’s longtime physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, never conducted a cognitive exam on Biden. Instead, O’Connor, “Propped up the president through grossly misleading medical assessments,” the report said. “His refusal to answer questions about the execution of his duties as physician to the president — combined with testimony indicating that Dr. Kevin O’Connor may have succumbed to political pressure from the inner circle, influencing his medical decisions and aiding in the cover-up—legitimizes the public’s concerns that Dr. O’Connor was not forthright in carrying out his ultimate duties to the country.”

The Committee recommends that the District of Columbia Board of Medicine review O’Connor’s actions while he was White House physician for any potential wrongdoing in Biden’s medical care, including whether O’Connor produced false or misleading medical reports.

The propaganda press failed to use basic observation as a journalistic tool and pushed O’Connor’s unchallenged reports to the public.

The New York Times blindly parroted O’Connor’s reports, declaring Biden “Healthy” and “Vigorous” in 2021. The Washington Post declared Biden healthy and vigorous in 2023, and CBS news called him “fit for duty” in 2024.

The report describes Biden’s inner circle as “resistant to any medical examinations that may have hurt President Biden’s chances in the 2024 election.” Politics was more important that giving Biden the best shot at medical care. His team discussed medical exams and decided against them. Anita Dunn, longtime political operative and Biden aide who served as a senior advisor to the former president, told the committee that the former president’s senior advisors reached a consensus that President Biden should not undergo a cognitive exam — despite persistent calls from the public to do so, the report said.

Disastrous Debate Was Supposed To Save Biden

While Biden’s Chief of Staff Jeff Zients never stepped in to save the United States from Biden’s decline, he was moved to act to protect the Democrat Party when loss of the executive branch seemed likely.  Zients testified that the Biden-Trump debate was held on an early date specifically to counter claims that Biden was too old for a second term.

“The whole purpose – not the whole purpose, a goal of moving the debate forward was to show that that was not the case. And, unfortunately, he had a bad night, and it was just the opposite. So I thought that, at that point, given the polling, concern around the President and his age, these calls from leadership on the Hill, the Caucus, that his likelihood of being reelected had diminished quite a bit and that he was better off letting someone else do that,” Zients said, according to the committee.

NPR reported that the debate “breaks with campaign tradition, occurring months earlier than usual…,” and now we know why.

Keeping Biden in office and in the 2024 campaign was profitable for Mike Donilon, one of Biden’s longtime advisors. Donilon was also Biden’s 2024 campaign chief and told the committee that he received “just a little bit short of $4 million,” in that position. He was paid monthly, so every month Biden stayed on the campaign trail was another paycheck for Donilon. He told the committee that Biden would have paid and additional $4 million if Biden won in 2024, for a total of $8 million.

 Hollywood Handlers

For help with Biden’s bumbling stage presence, the White House enlisted the help of Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg, Co-Founder of DreamWorks and former chairman of Walt Disney Studios. They tried to improve his speech delivery and said his voice was not loud enough.

Spielberg and Katzenberg both helped Biden prepare for the State of the Union address in March 2024. It is the sort of task one would assume a president could handle without handlers. Spielberg and Katzenberg advised President Biden to take his tie off at casual events, Zients testified.

May Have Considered A Wheelchair

The report lists the many times Biden fell, tripped, or stumbled in public.

On March 19, 2021, Biden tripped or fell three times in the span of three seconds while boarding Air Force One. ABC News minimized the incident with the incredible headline, “Biden ‘just fine’ after tripping 3 times jogging up steps to Air Force One.”

On June 18, 2022, Biden fell off his bike while riding in Delaware; Feb. 22, 2023, Biden stumbled while boarding Air Force One leaving Poland. June 1, 2023, Biden fell on stage at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. The committee asked Annie Tomasini, deputy chief of staff of operations about this fall because she was there, but Tomasini refused to answer, invoking the Fifth Amendment.

“As such, questions remain as to whether Tomasini urged Dr. O’Connor to refrain from providing medical assistance to President Biden that would be visible to the public,” the report said. “It has been reported that Dr. O’Connor privately said that ‘if [President Biden] had another bad fall, a wheelchair might be necessary for what could be a difficult recovery.’ Reportedly, there were ‘internal discussions about putting the president in a wheelchair, but they couldn’t do so until after the election.’ Ashley Williams, Deputy Assistant to the President, told the Committee she could not recall if such a discussion occurred,” the report stated.

Jill Biden’s Office Led

Anthony Bernal, chief of staff to First Lady Jill Biden, pleaded the Fifth Amendment when the committee asked if any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the president.

Zients confirmed to the committee that through Bernal, who sometimes spoke for the first lady “whether he’d spoken to her or not,” the inner-most circle of the Biden Administration and, by extension, the Oval Office ran through senior leaders of the First Lady’s office. As Joe Biden went downhill, Jill Biden was seen taking on presidential duties such as opening a cabinet meeting on Sept. 20, 2024 and making “substantial remarks” at that meeting. Or posting on social media that she was “Prepping for the G7,” which was not her job.

Deny The Problem

The public noticed Biden’s decline, but when the White House was asked about it, officials denied the obvious and acted offended at the suggestion. The report notes that since the 2020 campaign, questions about Biden’s mental acuity were described as, “a disgusting smear tactic,” or “a false misleading conspiracy theory,” and “and incredibly offensive question.”

Note Cards Needed

Biden’s communications team wanted him to appear coherent and fully in control of his faculties, the report said, so they gave Biden “Extremely detailed cards (even for purposes of discussing his own son), increasing reliance on teleprompters to the point where Democratic donors expressed concerns, issuing talking points without direct discussion with the president.” Ordinarily, the executive would direct his team on the content of the message he intends to deliver.

Biden was given talking points explaining why he pardoned his son Hunter Biden, including questions and answers. Such as the question, “When did you decide to [pardon Hunter]? And the answer, “made the decision this weekend.”

Easter Bunny Handler

It must have been a bit trippy for confused Biden to look into the eyes of the Easter Bunny to get stage direction. Less than six months after O’Connor’s endorsement of Biden’s fitness, Special Assistant to the President Megan Hays, dressed as the Easter Bunny, interrupted Biden and ushered him away from reporters in an effort to avoid unscripted communications during the White House Easter celebration, the report said. It is hard to imagine another world leader taking direction from a large rabbit.

All these actions made the Unites States look weak. Anyone connected to the scheme to keep Biden in the White House and deny his mental decline has demonstrated their disdain for the U.S. and its people, and should never be appointed or elected to a federal position again.
