Texas has an Islam problem. And it’s getting worse.
Charges have been filed against three men in connection with a shooting on Sunday, September 21, at The Rac Katy on FM 2855. It happened as youth baseball player and coaches were on the field.
A coach for one of the teams is recovering after he was shot during a weekend baseball tournament there.
Mahmood Abdelsalam Rababah, 23, Ahmad Mawed, 21, and Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah, 27, were arrested on felony charges of deadly conduct with a firearm.
Houston Warriors founder Andy Baize said the injured coach was saying a pregame prayer with their team.
“He literally took the bullet for a child that was to his left, and so thankfully we avoided a major disaster. Still very, very emotional over it,” Baize told KHOU 11.
The gunfire sent players, coaches and parents running for cover, but no one else was injured.
The media is trying to suggest that this was accidental. And it’s quite an accident that they managed to shoot a coach during a Christian prayer.
Quite a coincidence.
Will the national media cover this? Of course not. No more than Tucker Carlson will. And yet when three Arab Muslims were shot by a nutjob in Vermont who had no idea they were Muslims, the media provided national wall-to-wall coverage for a month about the ‘Islamophobia’ crisis. Then when hate crimes charges weren’t filed and the shooter turned out to be a leftist, the story finally disappeared.
The double standard is egregious and obvious.
Texas has a major Islam problem that isn’t being discussed. That also needs to change.
